AFOF has been on Norco 5 yrs, starting at the lowest dose and being moved up whenever he developed tolerance. He is now at the highest legal limit of Norco and can go no higher.
He has no health insurance and cannot afford to see pain management. Norco is not only being prescribed for one condition, but for several this man has.Now he has tolerance to Hydrocodone 10 / 325. Instead of giving him a slight bit of pep, it almost immediately causes him to become sleepy / no pain relief at all.
This man really has no other options so I was wondering if perhaps there were any over the counter meds / supplements / etc that may increase the pain relief effectiveness of the Norco without causing him to be so sleepy.
