i say let the fart out
Portuguese: peido m.
FFS that’s all we need. Imagine if some Portuguese people started talking about farting in an English speaking country. It would certainly lead to a few raised eyebrows.:laugh_at: :laugh_at:
the verb is peidar :groucho::groucho::groucho:
eu peido
voce peida
ele/a peida
when pronounced it does not sound like paedo as the pronounce all the vowels clearly 😉
similar to French péter (to fart) from which there is also un petard (either a small firework or improvised explosive device (often intended as a noise-maker rather than a weapon)….
raaaraaaraaaraaaraaaraaa
i been misguided into thinking pills act as lacitives??
everytime i have done gurners i constantly need the loo!
hmmm
strange
pills (and all other amfetamine type stimulants) certainly do have a laxative effect for some people; they change the level of stomach acids and the way your digestive system works.
Hmm amphetamines tend to have the opposite effect on me
I’ve also seen similar reports… it presumably depends on the individuals and the balance of their stomach acids.
I Haven’t found that much detailed research into this – but perhaps understandably so as it may be difficult to find human volunteers – to get at the stomach contents presumably either involves carting people into hospital labs and either cutting them open or sticking tubes into them, neither of which is going to be particularly pleasant on a comedown.
Ya, I can relate to the above, did you find that you were losing weight? I may have the same thing.
I did learn this week that a combo of real ale, pig roast, kebabs and various other junk foods all weekend make you a bit wiffy… :yakk:
Ooo not good in the office! :laugh_at:
