what's going on?

May bank holiday weekend, is notorious for free parties in the Oxford area. Saturday night was one of the best I've been to for a while. Tribe of Isis had setup 2 marquees on the edge of a beautiful lake at a gravel pits just outside Oxford.

The main tent was suitably fluoro'd up by Tribe of Isis, with some wicked hard trance pumping out from the Djs, which included Jarrah from Pendragon and Carry on Regardless. We spent most of the night in this tent, but unfortunately it got so muddy underfoot, that people ended up dancing outside the tent!!

The other tent was hosted by Dat'sound, and was playing techno, while another system setup playing old school and jungle.

The best bit about the party was the beautiful setting. As the sun came up you could see the mist clearing across the lake and watch the swans and geese bobbing around.

We left at about 8:30am and the music was still pumping. Don't know what time it all wound down, but the sound systems all moved on to the May Day free party up at the Ridgeway nearby......unfortunately I didn't make it - maybe next time!

Thanks to everybody involved
