A system is still being setup in one corner of the field, whist a few people are milling about. We start a small fire, and get comfortable whist waiting for the tunes to start. About 1am, the first signs of life, come from the speakers. Jungle tunes are played all night from this system - I still don't know the name of it, but it's not a bad setup. A single red flashing light sits on top of the speakers.
Bedlam have turned up by now, and are busy setting up their system. It looks quite impressive, with huge JBL speakers dominating the stack. They start off with some dub tunes, but soon merge into techno.
It has taken a while for everybody to get there and for everything to be setup. By about 2.30-3am everything has clicked into place and the atmosphere is definitely more relaxed than the start of the evening. Several drinks stalls have been setup - One out of a bus, and another out of the back of a car - which had pretty cheap prices.
Quite a bit of fire juggling/staff/poy activity happened around the site, whist the main dancing crowd moved from the jungle system over to the techno rig. I went for a walk up on top of the ridge, and watched the mist form in the valley, while a huge party happened down below. Flashing lights and loud tunes came from the depths - pretty fucking mad really.
Getting lighter and the crowd dancing are well still up for it. Around 5am, a computer, 303 and mixers are setup. A live techno PA is played by some bloke, who is absolutely amazing - I've never heard anything live being so good - and out in the open, with the sun breaking through the surrounding trees - nice moment to say the least.
The Police turn up about 6am, they seem in good spirits and continued to let the party go ahead unhindered. I had to leave about 6.30am, but could have stayed there all day.
