We have to park up on the grass verge, and walk up the road to a gate. Loads of people are about, and we hear the familiar thumping of a bassline over the hedge row. Walking past the gate, and past loads of cars parked at strange angles, we find that the venue, is what looks like a disused building or barn of some sort. Gaining entry through a small gap in the side of the building, we find carpet! The dark dance arena, has a decent set of techno/house going on and the multicolour tracker lights tracing around the room fill the dark corners room with a brief burst of light.
The rig itself, was loud, and certainly more than enough power for the size of the venue. Lots of people were dancing, and in general the party was pretty kickin'. Throughout the night the music gets gradually more dodgy! hardcore/oldskool, followed by drum and bass....with a few random genres chucked in whenever they felt like it! ;o)
It started to get light quite early, and a few people had left. One or two people were still on the dancefloor, but loads were still hanging around inside and out. We made a move around 5am, and headed back to the Berkshire/Hampshire border. A nice night out, and certainly better than staying in on a Sunday night!
