what's going on?

My last party for at least a year on saturday before heading off to Brazil, so i was hoping for a good one as i made my way over to Battersea Bridge way. Coming out of Clapham Junction a call came through "party busted, don't bother coming down" we were told, here we go again I thought, Headfuk being a bit cheeky again, especially after the Tottenham bust a few weeks back.

Anyway we made our way down to the venue hoping the police might 'ave fucked off by the time we arrived but no such luck, a shame since I'd been go-karting in the building when i was a kid and didn't even get to see the inside this time. On the phone again, we decided to head over to Hackney for a party we were told was in the Pembury Tavern, another place I remember visiting en route to Waterden Road before it was squatted. When we got there though someone realised there was no electricity, and therefore no party. Things weren't looking good, my last london party in ages and one gets busted and the other falls through.

Eventually we made it across to Lea Bridge Road and found the Underground Sounds Party, which was rammed to the ceiling, two systems and loads of studio-like rooms which I didn't find until the next morning. Spent most of the night on the tyres outside or trying to get in to the building again without much success but we met some cool people (and the usual set of wankers). Not a great venue, but better than no party at all, even if the big warehouse at the back of the building would've been a better choice of room for the U.S rig. I'm sure they had their reasons. take care to all the party people I've met in the last few years, some wicked nights looking back, and to the cunt who robbed my lighter, you can keep it mate, I'm off to Brazil.
