what's going on?

Getting on the road for about 11pm, we headed towards Guildford in a small convoy of 3 cars. I wasn't driving that night, but let someone else take me there...we got lost almost straight away! I'd been around the area before, so sorted out the correct directions and after the usual fucking around we were on our way to the West Sussex border.

Getting closer and we spot the party convoy up ahead, tag on the end and get taken straight to the venue. Pulling in through the gates, we park up in the mud and skin up. One of our friend's cars gets stuck in the mud pretty bad... we 'tug of war' stylee pull him out, and end up having to pull out another stuck motorist.

The venue was a two roomed, old building on the West Sussex border, 20 minute drive from Guildford. The large room had F.O.C soundsystem with their drum and bass rig pumping out the MC'd basslines into the cold night. The smaller room next door had Psychosis playing some really wikkid psytrance & acid techno tunes from their 4k system. The smaller room kept the heat in and had a lot of people dancing during the whole night. The sound levels from both systems were good, and I didn't notice any problems during the night.

No signs of the old bill turning up, but strange lights in the sky made me think that a chopper was sent out... but it was probably a local miltary base doing training. Around 500 people turned out, from what I understand Psychosis have only just started up and have done 5 or so free parties... but suitably impressed me on the night and was a nice welcome back to the UK party scene.

Both systems ran well into the cold crisp morning, and a few people were still around at 8am when the systems switched off. Someone's car fell off the side of a huge kerb and was resting on it's axels.... my mate who's car got stuck in the mud, had a boot full of tools and got his trolley jack out and rescued the stranded car. free party spirit is still alive and well in the UK... really good to see! respect to both systems, hope to be out again with yer.
