what's going on?

Word went about that Psychosis were dragging the rig out and putting on a party somewhere in Surrey. We got the directions and headed off towards Guildford in a small convoy. Without too much trouble we made it to the correct turning, but my in car map reader, Ross got me a bit confused and we drove around in circles for a while! Finding the correct country lane we drove for a few miles down it before we had to pull over for a car coming the other way. They stopped and told us that someone had stacked their car and the police with a tow truck were up there. we turned around and back to the main road. After some studying of the map we found another country lane that lead to the site and drove up that for a good five miles or so before hitting the town of Coldharbour.

Turning at the pub, we saw a few party-goers milling about the track obviously aware that the track ahead was filled with deep potholes. We drove on, and to our surprise found the track was quite nice to drive along. Parked up in the temporary carpark and over into a big clearing in the middle of the forest. A system with quite a few people packed around it, playing drum and bass with MC's over the top was at the top of the field. Some good tunes, but techno was needed to keep the cold out.

We walked over to Psychosis at the top of the field and they were pumping some wikkid tunes. Fires had sprung up around the system and the cold night was certainly noticed! three fleeces on and I was still cold! It was wierd. I saw this guy running around in an offical looking firemans outfit. I wondered what was going on for ages, before someone told me that people had come up from a fancy dress party somewhere. Loads of people were dancing, and the techno kept coming from the stack. We hung around, trying to keep warm. I eventually brought my car up on to the field and sat in comfort for a bit. It got light and the sunrise was amazing, bringing a bright sunny day.

We left around 8am and drove back thru the woods out back to the village. Loads of people walking to the main road, and we even passed the fake fireman halfway back down the road. I would have given a lift, but no spaces left. cheers Psychosis for a wikkid night! .
