what's going on?

Didn't arrive until 6 in the morning. We spent around 2 hours trying to find the site. The sight was quite near the road and when we actually found it you could see everyone dancing and feel the car shaking from 20k rig

We pulled in through a gate and got charged a quid each each for entry. The system was set up at the back of a large field and was playing D&B when we got there. I wandered about chatting to people and generally having a good time. DJ Guy came on the decks and the Techno started lots of classic tune like Neurodancer and Cygnus X Orange theme were being played. All of us were down the front jumping about.

The weather was a little overcast but not cold. Tea, Coffee, beer etc. was available. When we arrived there was probably about 1500 people there. Someone told me that earlier in the night that the whole place was packed and that there were a good few thousand there.

Just before 11 am the Exodus tune came on. And just about everybody who was left suddenly surged forward to the speaker stacks. Everyone jumping together trying to join hands together. Mad. The tune was rewound with everyone cheering. I was stood in front of the speakers and looked out towards the road and I could see a family, cycling along the road looking down at everyone partying. They stopped their bikes and started waving at everyone and we all waved back at them. The Exodus tune came on again and everyone went mental. When the tune had finished, reggae was played quietly and a mass clean up operation began.

Brilliant party. Can't wait for the Festival at the end of August.
