what's going on?

We didn't actually know what we were going to do this new year until the last minute. After hearing about this party we decided that this was it. We got two cars together and headed off. It didn't take long to get there and was quite easy to find, but we did have quite good directions scribbled on a piece of paper. We arived at about 9 o'clock.

Co-Exsistance and POD had one rig joined set up in an old airbase hanger. It was a good venue with plenty of parking space. There was no music at first which was apperently due to there not being enough generator power. This was sorted within an hour and the party kicked off. The rig was loud and sounded really good. The lights were also good and they had a really impressive set up, including a bar, painted backdrops, flouro and heating! The were playing acid techno, techno, uplifting trance and hard house to a crowd of about 150.

No one really noticed that it was the year 2000, but when we did the champagne came into force! I got a bit worried at 7 o'clock as it was still very dark outside and I thought the sun was not going to rise meaning the end of the world!! Anyway, we left at about 8 o'clock as a mate had to go to work and they started to play really cheesey ibiza house music which I don't really like. Anyway it was a good party and a nice way to see in the new year!
