what's going on?

What a mental night. Exodus pulled off another top class party. The evening started at 11:40 when 14 of us left Milton Keynes in a convoy to the meeting point at Woodside industrial estate. As we entered Woodside the Police were making their presence felt, apparently they were just pulling people over and asking things like "where are you going?".

The convoy left Woodside at around 2.00 am after leaving we then realised how big this party was going to be, all I could see in front of me and behind me was cars, the convoy stretched out for miles.

We spent 2 hours in the convoy with everbody moaning (but not wanting to give up) and wondering what was happening. Apparently a farmer had blocked off the entrance to the party with a skip and Exodus were desperately trying to remove it. Which thankfully they did.

We finally got into Klop Hill at around 4.00 am. Klop hill is an amazing place for a party. It is a sand quarry. The edges of the quarry were lined with tall trees and there were large sand dunes you could sit on or jump off. Exodus had set the system up against a cliff wall, a smaller Dub Reggae system was playing on top of a hill next to a drinks van.

The Exodus Sound System as ever was booming and kicking out some pumping Techno and Jungle. People were dancing everywhere. The atmosphere was great after such along wait getting there everyone was up for a dance. 3500 to 4500 people attended and the party and it went on till 1 PM on Sunday afternoon. The weather was slightly overcast but nice and warm. The Last tune as always was the Exodus tune, the minute it started playing dancers came running to the Sound System, everyone jumping with one hand in the air, (big unity). I definitely had to be in the middle of that.

We left at about 2 in the afternoon heading back for MK.

This was the first outdoor party I have been to this year. I won't be missing the next one.
