what's going on?

I sorted directions out for my mates to get to the party in Guildford before I left for London. My mate had to do some photograhpy work up at Tyssen street in Dalston. Return to the Source were hosting the night - and some top tunes were played. Making a move to the party around 4.30, we met some blokes from Portsmouth during the night and dragged them along with us (hi yer Andy!). Managed to get from one side of London to south of Guildford in just over an hour. I knew where the site was and had been there once before. At about 6.20, we turned into the track, past a few cars and up the bumpy track. The track was totally blocked by cars, so I parked in a ditch and abandoned the car there.

Walking down the track, I was expecting the party to be happening in the same clearing as it had been in before. This time it had been setup close by, but in the woods. Walking down into the woods, we saw an amazing sight. 200-300 people dancing. A Tipee with decks inside it. Two huge speaker stacks playing loud trance tunes. unfortunately it was light when we arrived, so we didn't see the place lit up with UV.

The party had been organised for someone's birthday, and the equipment had been hired from POD soundsystem, the trance DJ's had come down from London, and free water and fruit was available. Well organised by the looks of it, shame I didn't see it from the start though.
