I was finally able to turn off those email notifications which were being sent out incorrectly for old mentions. For the time being this means notifications in general are disabled. However I’ve also re-enabled push notifications using a different system the original because it was causing the web site to run slow. Anyway thanks for your patience with the email thing. If and when a fix becomes available, email notifications will be re-enabled of course.
