If you go to chat, hover over it it will show a drop-down menu then click latest posts and it will show them. That’s how I look for new posts to respond to.

I remember it now. It might be possible on wordpress, I remember being on basketball websites in 2004 that had a live IRC, I think it might help the plight of keeping the vibe alive.
AFAIK #partyvibe at irc.freenode.net was what we always used (any chatboxes on the forum ended up there anyway) and I tried it a couple of days ago and it seemed to work – its not encrypted and any random can find it but its still there…
I used Pidgin, set up an account for irc.freenode.net (put my PV username in the username field (not sure if this matters, maybe you can use anything). When freenode loads up enter /join #partyvibe and I was in the room..
