After a drug fueled Glastonbury festival, i have decided to go t-total throughout July just to prove to myself that it can be done and i can still have a good time. So far ive been out to town twice and a free warehouse party and had a good time on nothing but red rooster. I have had the urge for spliff and maybe E but despite numerous offers of booze, i really dont think i will ever need to drink again. Has anyone else been sober at a free party, granted a good E would make it more buzzing but surprisingly i had a good time listening to hardcore techno and dancing my tits off. When everyone else around u is having a good time theres no excuse for not joining in.
Anyone else think alcohol is shite?

I won’t disagree with you there and I’ve heard it from many others too. Personally I’ve just finished a fairly long stint off demon drink after going hard for too long and having been left really worse for wares.

All things in mode ration, eh?!

good for you fella, i think a month off will do you some real good. so many people start to think they can’t have a good time without bending their minds, whether with alcohol or something else.

BTW, your liver rebuilds itself in 21 days of no alcohol or drug consumption, provided you have more than 25% of it left to start with. pretty cool organ i reckon 😛

nothing like a cold guinness for breakfast tho, is there? i mean, really, nothing anything quite that nice. tee hee

Did the partying while teetotal for 6 months a few years back and I was quite happy as long as I got some rave sleep in somewhere along the line, still do it now on and off. Can be quite funny laughing at all the messers now and then!

I have no will power in this department, for me it’s all or nothing if i’m not gonna take anything i have to steer clear of parties all together, i always feel like i’m missing out on something, and if i stop the drugs for a while i get it into my head that it’s ok to drink twice as much as i usually do!!! *shakes head* deary me…..

i think alcohol is pretty shite if you over do it! but then all drugs if you over do it have sum nasty down sides…booze is so physical it always messes me up bigtime i always think that a hangover is alot worse than most comedowns.

yea.

i dont drink or do chems, so i always have a spliff on the go…

and if at a party I cant find mushies im in toking mode all night.

went to lab 4 straight and it was still amazing.
