    thought this was interesting…

surprised to see heroin as being rated as most dangerous, apart from the danger of becoming addicted in a society that criminalises users, it’s fairly harmless unless you overdose

its probably based on the dangers of it use rather than the drug’s toxicity itself – heroin bought on the street can be pretty dangerous to use especially with dirty needles:hopeless:

also seems od that canabis is show as being more harmful than solvents ???

from reading the full article I get this impression to an extent; the boffins are trying to gauge harm to others (particularly economic losses, costs of associated crime) as well as the individuals, and to consider the current legislative system where drugs remained illegal.

Its a more reasoned classification than the current system but there are still quite a few anomalies IMO..

is there a link to the original article?

sorry should have put that in before

Tobacco+weed are worse than lsd? You gotta love how these surveys come out.. I mean other than for addiction reasons, thats blatently not true.. I mean I have smoked green on a daily basis for many years, as have most of my freinds.. I have done acid a fair few times too, but I suspect if I had done it on a daily basis for years (if I even could, after the frist few I find it does fuck all, after I’ve tripped, I have tripped) I would have turned into a acid casualty by now..
