Ok this was sparked from someones comments about people not knowing what’s in pills

You can never know whats in anything unless you analyse it (i’m not saying we can’t recognise good stuff but . . .)

Anyway, my question is how many of you people out there who happilly snort, shoot, swallow and/or smoke all kinds of exotic illegals are also the type who won’t take paracetamol, ibuprophen, antibiotics etc?

I’ve just known loads of people through my life who have just that attitude, an it always struck me as weird :you_crazy

Yea I’m sure that packet of dog worming tablets I just ate were snide & them ladies hormone pills I had last week have made my voice go abit high pitched!

Ahh well at least I’ve got some cat laxatives left :laugh_at:

I also know LOADS of people like this T

it really makes me laugh when they say ‘is it ok to take an ibuprofen when all I’ve eaten is a buiscuit’,

I then ask were they that conserned when they were pinning their groin with H?
or whether they consider the possible side effects of drinking 10 pints on a saturday night!

however saying this I was also quite similar when the doctor wanted me to go on the pill for different reasons to just contraception – I was like I dont want to put that shit into my body –
but quite happily smoked 40 a day, drank huge quantaties of beer and did various other naughty things….. I relented afetr realising what a twat I was 😉 :you_crazy

as if the drugs on the scene are made from organic nice stuff by little loved-up hippy leprachauns just out of the goodness of their hearts :you_crazy

have never figured this one out

(as for the rest of you! :get_you: should’ve known better than to expect a straight answer 😉 )

I’ve met a few hippies like that but its less common these days, in fact more and more people are getting onto benzos (ordered from dodgy foreign pharmacies) etc to deal with comedowns / psychosis

I’ve never been like that though as 95% of my extended family (virtually all of them in the UK) work in healthcare, either NHS or private healthcare…

I do check up on the side effects of all drugs I may take (for whatever reason)

exactly. I’m no expert but I do know a little about chemistry and I can tell with certain drugs the quality/purity defnitely isn’t all that and way less pure than legit substances.

Its a bit odd isnt it – especially when you consider that at least the drugs in the legal tablets are listed and the side effects are out there to be found in the public domain

I’m one of these people.

I don’t like the way my body reacts to a lot of pharmaceutical drugs and I believe its better for my immune system if I just let it deal with the problem. I mean last time I took ibuprofen I took 1 because I broke my arm and couldn’t get to hospital for 3 days and that was 2 or 3 years ago.

I don’t trust the fact the way that pharmaceutical companies convince doctors to us etheir drugs. I used to have a friend whose father was a doctor and who often got free holidays and even got a company car for a year all for choosing to prescribe the drugs he did. This means that what th doctor is prescribing you might not be the best for you its just in his interest to use as much as he can.

Also trigger happy doctors with antibiotics worry me as over prescription there causes them to be useles when you need them and there are only so many available.

If it comes to the point where I’m dying then I wont stop them from doing whatever they need to but until then I like my body to fight for itself. Its what the immune system is there for.

Drugs are for fun not for sore heads IMO.

I’m not into eather legal or the illegal ones realy. Drugs are there for emergencys n that only.
Ketmamine is an emergency tranq, heroin is a pain killer, canabis for MS ect ect

I agree with this – dont torture your body with unnecessary pills and tablets if you have no medical reason to do so….immune systems are there for a reason and should be treated with respect 🙂
