      For the sake of arguement lets say I have 500mg of something which I need to divide up into 5 & 10 & 15 mg doses.

      I seriously do not want to fuck up and fry my brain with too much, so for the time being I’m just holding on to this stuff. Looking at it I couldn’t even begin to speculate what 10mg even looks like.

      I’ve looked online for digital balances, but they run in the hundreds of dollars for 1 mg precision. I’ll buy one if I have to though.

      What other options for measuring are there?

        check ebay for the digital scales too

        you could do it by eye?

        500 halved = 250
        halved again = 125
        halved again = 62.5
        halved again = 31.3

        from there you would be able to do the smaller sizes in whichever size you chose [its accurate for me in preparing incense but you do need to have a good eye for quantities for it to work]
