Would anyone be lovely enough to summarise?

Not linked to my intelligence, but I have a really short attention span :laugh_at:

basically a fuckload of our tax money (including those of you not in UK but EU citizens) got spent on paying for some very brainy scientists to do lots of indepth research into MDMA.

The scientists found out that although pure MDMA obviously has risks its not half as dangerous to health as it was previously thought to be, and that therefore it should be in class B rather than class A.

After spending all our money. our Government, fearing a backlash from the majority of non-drug using people, have disagreed with and totally ignored the reports scientific findings and are pressing on with keeping MDMA at class A (FFS why didn’t they just have the balls to do this in the first place?)

Had a good read through all that. Basically what we knew all along. This Govt needs to pull it’s head out of it’s arse, stop nicking our money through expenses and sort it out!!

Might write to my MP and ask him to start a campaign! :laugh_at:

    more people should

i think it shows how detached new labour have got themselves

they believe they cannot downgrade a drug because it would be political suicide, however by reclassifying cannabis and taking a “tough” stance to try and win supporters from the right wing (who ironically will have a bigger problem with the rest of labour) they alienate their left of centre supporters!

if anything labour over the past few years have monumentally commited political suicide

    interesting read,

    thanks for that
