  • wheres the best, ive got a choice really of in some woods or out in the open but in the middle of no where.

im holdin them for about 100 peeps and i wanna take it sumwhere where we wont get DISTURBED. any ideas???

Out in the open even in the “middle of nowhere” there are often houses within line of sight (get a set of binoculars and use them!) or livestock which can be disturbed – pigs(!) particularly don’t like a din.

Sound can travel an amazing distance out in the open even with a small rig.

Trees soak up the din and minimise the disturbance. Be mindful of suitable access routes and avoid causing traffic congestion in rural areas; this is a dead giveaway and is another potential conflict point with locals which will make them go whinging to the Police.

Don’t block or create ruts in the decent mountain biking trails or any other route used by bicycles; cyclists are usually friendly towards the aims of party crews provided they don’t see people driving badly or like idiots (also a lot of ravers own and ride bikes – myself included 😉 ).

The less hassle you cause others the less grief you will get off the old bill. There are a lot of conspiracy theories about surveillance of rave crews; yet 90% of the time parties are only stopped because of complaints from locals and landowners rather than surveillance or intelligence gathering.

wen i like meeen in da middle of nowhere, i mean like 20 miles from da nearest house, and 3-4 miles from da nearest main road.

yeh i think the woods are a very good idea though, every one ive been to in da woods has been a reall spin out, fukin mad, specially wid lights (reminds me… need lights)

well ill prob be tryin out both, ill keep ye lot in da formed bout wats goin ups,

    chars me dars
