Party Vibe

I am not a good writer but I do like to take pictures, so my party reports are more picture story’s

My name is Erik aka Blaze and I live in Zaandam appr. 10 km from Amsterdam (Holland)

we have quit some party’s over here and I like to be there from the start but am mostly gone before the end (because of my work, I have to get up very early and that shows in the weekend, I am “dead” at 2 or 3 o’clock and taking drugs to stay awake is not always an option)

I like to photograp the atmosphere at party’s and when it is dark I don’t use flash light, it spoils the atmosphere of the pic
because I do not use flash my pics can be very dark. therefor I use the setting on the camera for night time pics (do not know how to call this in english, but my camera says it’s called Iso 400)
but this setting means I have to keep the camera still for a fraction of a second, and also people I take pics of have to stand still for a while. that’s why lots of my pictures have vague people on it 😉

next weekend there is the legalize streetrave in Amsterdam, then an after party for legalize and after that there will be a Zirk party(the organisation I do some work for sometimes)
I will try to make a party review for all of you

The parties I go to tend to play techno, a bit of breaks, sometimes some reggae, deep funky house and chilled beats. (Three rooms of music).
Would people posting on this site be interested in hearing about such parties? I’d fling up the odd report, were that the case.
As it’s summer I’ll be partying outdoors, freely and for as long as the sun shines.
I agree that people get too trashed to post and then time lapses, the moment is lost.
