the other issue of photography at raves is fending off the paranoid types who think you are old bill – ironic as random snappers working undercover aren’t normally used when they can use a helicopter or riot cops with cameras instead – also polis evidence photos have to be taken in accordance with strict rules to ensure they haven’t been altered enroute to court/CPS
I sometimes take quite a few pics but tend to only circulate them amongst good friends – a lot of crews I know are rightly concerned that people show full reg numbers of crew vehicles and other incriminating stuff on photos uploaded to the net. This isn’t a private photo album in a house – cops, peoples bosses and random haters can read websites as well…
Just be sensible; a bit of work with photoshop and a site policy that you will remove photos on request will deal with this, don’t just upload the entire chip unedited!
