i was given a home made ozzie party magazine a couple of years ago. One of the articles was about a massive convoy of trucks powered by vegetable oil.
They crossed the country to hold a massive rave on a site that was about to have a nuclear reactor built on it… both to have fun and as a protest.
There was also an article about a centre im melbourne which was in a bit of a legal grey area that the OB were trying to close down. They turned up in numbers during a big free party. The party-goers stood their ground when ordered to leave. Apparently the cops retreated to chants of “Bad cop, No doughnut”.
A big vague, but it sounds like a lively scene
