direct action is the best way to ensure that funds reach proper places. raising and sending funds directly to grassroot action groups in affected countries seems to me as the best way, given my understanding of the region.

Althogh raising money is not the solution at all. Although it will most certainly help, the main thing here is to raise awareness of why our current global system is responsible for these affected countries cannot support themselves even though they are land is richer uin terms of agricultural produce or even raw mineralals etc.

Having a set of events in the underground squats but including other sections of the society as well can probably help.

what do you do?

cant help with kit or spaces, but will gladly contribute to a party to raise awareness for recycling. we have a ss and projectors too, so a link up might be fun.
