we used to have loads of winter parties and I really loved them,
but the old bill are really clamping down; mainly because buildings which were blatantly gonna be re-let (sometimes same ones over again) got partied and then rinsed courtesy of smashy smashy crew!
worse still there have been loads of potential buildings down our way burned out during the summer by teenagers – FFS why? maybe this fits in (in SE at least) with less teens attending raves, or surely they’d realise thse places are better left intact.
Unless you turn up a particularly good and safe venue (and if you do consider perhaps using it for your “dream” as well as just a few weekends!”) and particularly given the other stresses you’ve had in your life, I’d suggest stick to the house parties etc until next May.
Use the time to consolidate your friendships and links and work on stuff like your décor/videos as well – you will be in a safe crowd with no risk of ruckus, cops, confiscations or hassles, and you could make your crew stronger.
