      how come you only get these on Firefox and not IE6 on Win2k? anyone know?

      for instance there’s a big smiley on partyvibe, an SJ logo on squatjuice, a GU logo on the grauniad – ironfeather has a logo as well, there’s even a TVP shield on the thames valley police site…

      I’m sure they have been seen on IE before as well..

        they’re called favicons and they’re supposed to work work in ie, but it’s pooh and they don’t.

            Apparently IE sometimes picks up on them after HEAVY usage and a long period of time on certain sites. Can’t see why that would make a difference though.
