In no particular order:
The friendly vibe of the people there.
The music.
Being able to party outdoors and not worry when it’s going to finish (I remember at my first party i found it hard to comprehend them not having a finishing time like bars or clubs).
The unpredictability of it all. You never know when the farmer will roll up on his tractor, or someting completely random will happen.
The faces of Sunday morning dog-walkers as they walk through, and giving them a bright cheery ‘morning’!
But most of all the buzz I get from knowing that against all odds, a soundsystem and however many people have turned up at a location, and got a phat party going, through sheer determination and ingenuity. It’s my own little way of every now and then breaking free of the system that we are part of every day. It’s a very liberating feeling.
