  • If you take a look into the window of the bar on Oxford Street called ‘Baracuda’, (sort of rounded glass effort), you’ll see that they have large posters declaring “THIS IS AN RnB FREE BAR”…

    Now that’s no problem as far as I’m concerned, but check the reason why they’ve banned RnB – Manchester Police dictated that they do so, as apparently this kind of music attracts an undesirable ‘bling-bling’ crowd/vibe which results in violence etc..

    Mad!

    It’s true, the landlady told me. (I was trying to get blag a poster for myself but apparently they “cost a bomb” to print. Hmn.)

    savage..i’m not r’n’bs greatest fan, but what if they decide dnb is next? then hiphop? before we know it, only pop will be legally allowed. it’ll do raves the world of good, tho as they will be the only place people can hear this kind of music.

    its a scary precedent.

    you can’t dance without a license
