parties are usually always fun – but there’s always a few improvments people could make…..

who’se got suggestions? anything from the serious to totally random stuff….

Chemists should produce proper pills like they used to. And ketamine should be banned.

I may even consider doing chemicals again if that happened.

…..there you go, that’s one serious and slightly non serious suggestion.

not always possible if it’s a hit and run party

but if you’re checking out a rural site before the night itself, take a spade

and dig a trench*

on the night… hang some material around it… maybe put a couple of pallets either side of the trench

and hey presto

a toilet appears :weee:

if you can, grab a bucket of sawdust so people can cover up their crimes

if you’re really ambitious you could burn some incense as well… and provide bog roll for the ladies (and the crap-needy)

then fill in the trench the next day

*it only needs to be 18 inches deep

apologies if this is too earthy for any of you… actually, apologies retracted… SORT IT OUT FFORF UGZ ZAKE

Or have a MaDMAn revolution, like in Eire. AFAIK the prce of quality stuff has plummeted after locals got fed up with the quality of pills about.

might also be worth making the location of the latrine quite clear with signs/lights etc , to prevent people falling into it….

Nah…. more entertaining!

I think a good set of backdrops/ lights hung in the trees make a party look cool- one of the few things that psy-trance parties really beat any other at.

the comedy value may diminish somewhat when lots of people end up sick as dogs due to contamination being brought back on-site… (apparently that did for loads of people at the Boom festival in portugal…..)

one crew I know (which isn’t really a psy-trance crew) does this as well, its becoming more common.

or ’employ’ someone to hand out paper / keep the queue entertained… let them keep the tips as payment… french / turkish style

bit of a shit job, but can help someone skint to pay for their rugs

the first few freeparties i went to had wicked little chillout tents and way better visuals than anything ive seen since. id like to see more of that, along with a cafe and bar catering for the more mellowly mashed among us.

as for the sewage problem-portaloos would be favourite, or a caravan dedicated to it..you’d have to have a collection bucket cos mashed people are rubbish at usin the loo. all of a sudden a latrine seems the way forward! unless you put the effort in..

Get rid of people with tracksuits, nasty smiles & bad behaviour and replace them by free party people.
