      South West Scotlands premier festival is on this year{despite the lack of advertising}

      5th to the 8th of august £25 pay on the gate for all 4 days camping and entertainment

            aye… £25 for 4 days is good value (I hope the polis don’t nick half the money like the English ones do) but its not a free party. If I were a Scot or Northerner I would certainly go to this event!

            We don’t mind decent commercial promoters using this site (although we suggest that they register and consider donating something; this is one of the highest-ranked party/rave/festival websites world-wide on Google) ;

            but please try and put any event with a mandatory entrance price in the pay party section…

              Thanks to everyone who made the 2004 Palgowan Dance Festival our best yet. We have been inundated with a whole host of quality acts from all over the UK for this years event. With DJs playing the very best of Drum and Bass, Techno, Hip Hop, Filthy Acid, Funk and Soul we’re hoping to provide another outstanding variety of stages all for only £25 per adult.

              We hope you’ll join us once again in the heart of the Scottish countryside for another weekend full of music, friendly faces, good food and banter.                 Well after five days of bliss I have finally got home a little worse for wear from my over indulgence of Palgowan… so what can I say about this years festi… WOW!!! It may have reduced in numbers from last year but it regained the intimacy of the first year with every single attendee being of the same thoughts… PARTY TIME!!!

                Roll on 2006!!!

                  Thanks to all who came seeing the looks of enjoyment on your faces made all the stress organising the event worth while…..
                  Needless to say myself and the other orgainisers had become a little sick of paper work for the PEL and dealing with the Police, Fire Brigade and EHO’s although i have to say they were all sound as fuk..

                  Many thanks to all the Rigs that came down and helped make Palgowan the weekend that it was to the Preston Madhatters for their amazing set up, to the Ped Skum crew for theirs as well and for letting me play acidhardcore until 8am on the tues morn!!! I fried my own head after playing that for 2hrs…

                  Thanks to club blart for coming all the way down and special thanks to the Drumclinic for managing to get Egebamyasi to grace us with his presence and play and eggtastic set on the Sat nite….

                  To everyone who helped us out by doing a stint on the gate and helping us put the finishing touches to the PEL requirements a huge thank you as we would never have been able to do it without your help…
