Beginning with SEDUCTION and continuing with all of our larger upcoming events, we will begin incorporating elements of extreme positivity:

We are sending letters out to every area organization we can find – primarily political, environmental and harm reduction groups such as DanceSafe, ONE, Broward Greens, Broward Anti-War Coalition, Volunteer Broward, Citizens for a Better South Florida, United Way of Broward County, Ocean Watch Foundation, and the Florida Institute for Peace Education and Research. If they are interested and available, they are welcome to come to our events for free, and setup a booth or table so they can talk one-on-one with the people attending our parties. This will allow them to disseminate information about their organization’s goals and motivations to a completely new segment of society, many of whom might never have otherwise heard about these groups.

This is the first of many steps we will be taking to improve our future events. We feel that this will help to introduce a new level of positivity into the local electronic music scene. Our hope is that by helping to support groups outside of our scene, we will begin to effect the entire world around us – one step at a time.

Many thanks to the author of “Does hope lie in South Florida’s music scene?” for mentioning the Euphoria Project, and eternal thanks to the Lumonics family, for their blueprint of caring and concern has given us the impetus to incorporate these changes into our events.

I’m probably never going to get to one of your events for many years (at least until a more progressive govt is in power in the USA)…

But I’ve just seen your post about the positive stalls and the links to all those discussion and the totally affordable ticket prices ($15 is way cheaper than similar raves even in England and Europe!)

its not often I give a 5 star rating to a commercial event thread (as I could be accused of being “bribed” etc) – but everyone involved in your event totally deserves it.

you are taking a brilliantly positive step that all promoters in the USA should follow…

Wow, thank you VERY much for your incredibly kind and vocal compliments. I’m just doing my best to bring the rave scene back to what it was in the late eighties and early nineties. In fact, I believe the scene has the potential to be FAR better than even what it was at it’s peak.

Oh and… good luck on that one 🙁 I think the ultra-conservative religious right has the United States Gov’t exactly where they want it. With Bush’s new appointment of a conservative Catholic justice to the Supreme Court, wave bye-bye to Roe vs Wade and numerous other landmark decisions.

Well, I for one am determined to do my best to support peace in America and the entire world, and hopefully what the Euphoria Project is doing here will help at least in some small measure. Baby steps 🙂
