Help..does anyone outthere know whereabouts of Trauma, engineering rig, squatted together time ago..want to say hi. Please help!!

last I saw of him he had given up raving (it got a bit stressful here with hassle from the old bill, constant vandalism of venues and squatting getting a bad name due to pinheads) – so he packed it all in and last I knew he was running a go-kart track as a business… not sure if he’s still in the Reading area, although one of the old OOOPS! crew had recently seen him..

if I come across him again I’ll pass on the message….

cheers for that..glad to know he didn’t go downhill with everyone..kept seeing it happen thats why i got out. He was one of the soundest people i knew..along with alex..(know him?)

Trauma is well – at least last i heard in Sept he was cool.

Yeah – that man kept his head while all around lost theirs. Currently driving not raving. I bought up most of his old records from the early days. Not sure if any other OOOPS! guys still catch him.

As for Alex, if its the same one, I tried to call him recently. He’s married to alison and they got a kid, daniel.

Anyone else you need to know about????

Hi Dan – good to hear Trauma is OK – wasn’t sure what he was up to these days. I think he still has my copy of “Energy Flash” (the book, not the record) though!

I think its a different Alex she was looking for and we worked out which one he was 😉

God don’t worry about it – i was only joking as you mentioned Trauma has one of yours – I’m a terrible hoarder of books so I do like to give them away once I’ve read them!! Thought I’d better check before posting address as thought something like that may be the case. So if you know anybody of charitable nature can you forward my page on!! :bigsmile:

sorry last post was a bit unclear – my employers block on-line money transfer sites, because of problems with people abusing them for private gain (as a taxpayer funded organisation this stance is perfectly understandable).

I can see no reason whatsoever why you can’t plug the charity appeal in our classifieds section, or even the community section – I’d go so far to say its perhaps even a duty of a site like this to do so -mental health problems are an unfortunate hidden legacy of the early 90s rave/drugs culture so the work these charities do is invaluable.

very true – hence why I chose to fundraise for them – I have posted a thread about fundraising ideas and had some brilliant ideas back – loved the big pants one but unfortunatly haven’t enough time or people to make some as I have a deadline of 10 Dec to get most of the money in (£1000) aaarg so if anyone feels like donating to MIND check out http://www.justgiving.com/charliehutch Dig deep its an excellent cause and as GL points out the rave scene has had its fair share of mental health problems (i probably haven’t phrased that as well as you GL!) But I’m sure most will have it experienced mental health problems either themselves or from someone around them, as it is like ripples in a pond and almost everyone is effected.
