I was just wondering how long it will take Dr. Bunsen or anyone else for that matter to come up with a ‘conspiracy theory’ as to why 163 (and counting) innocent Indian people were blown to smithereens in Mumbai yesterday?:you_crazy
These were coordinated attacks at peak time to cause maximum fatalities.
Long live Mother India!
why not get them started? show them how a pro does it:groucho:
:laugh_at::laugh_at::laugh_at::laugh_at:
i dont think reality = conspiracy
you cant make the problems go away by pretending they dont exist
why is it a “conspiracy theory” that the world is divided and at war, people hate one another and they are prepared to take each others lives to prove their point, or to gain power? this sort of stuff is inevitable in an unequal world wracked with hate and war.
I thought this sort of situation is fucking plain for all to see – you see it on your streets every day with the rising crime and violence figures, never mind terrorism.
Thats just simply the world today; few people seem to be doing much positive to combat it -if they are sadly they are not able to achieve much at the moment.

Who said that all of the above was a conspiracy theory. I think you need to read the thread again and get back to me!
please clarify what the point of the thread was for me – i am not getting it:crazy::crazy::crazy:
ta 😉

I have read the thread – you clearly seem to imply (also in the 7/7 thread) that we should simply mourn the victims, say how bad it is and not discuss the politics and power games involved in these incidents; and that any discussion on the perceived reasons behind such attacks is a “conspiracy theory” (anything can be argued to be such if people don’t agree with it).
presumably this discussion is to be left to the people playing the power games, whilst we all go about our daily business thinking “the nanny state will protect us” – or lose ourself in the false euphoria of drugs; until one of us ends up as the next poor bastard to be blown up at some angry man’s whim?
To do so is merely a dangerous denial of the world situation which is becoming a more hostile place by the day, when we may even have a slim chance to make it better.
BTW when you said “long live mother India” do you have any Indian ancestry? I do (my mothers side of the family is Indian) and these civil wars and terrorist attacks have been a way of life for hundreds of years… harsh but even the worlds “oldest democracy” is not immune to terrorism and extremism.
“do you have any Indian ancestry?”
I find that rather patronizing considering I spend half of my time there. And yes I do have Indian ancestory on my Father’s side.
This terrorist attack was more than likely perpetrated by Islamic funda’mentalists’ who are hell bent on causing as much death and destruction in the name of Mohammed, rather than talking around the table.
BTW what is your idea to the Kashmiri ‘crisis’ (probable cause of attack) solution? Like I said before the radical moslems love death more than life.
Shanti shanti!
think all of us here agree that what have happend is terrible, both india, london,New York,Bali,Madrid and so on..Could actually go on forever..
As to why they were blown to pieces,i dont know..
Could just as easy have been you or me,but why???

Sorry
I had a flash back to a Monty Python sketch and thought somebody had paid for an argument.

Ha, now your SN is quite ironic when the subject of this thread is about radicals who are lovers or death.

sorry if it sounded like that; that wasn’t intended as its not that easy to work out someones ancestry or ethnicity over the internet unless they tell you (but thats also a good thing!)
however you’ve not mentioned it before other than the “Mother India” comment; I don’t know you from Adam, youve started a number of confrontational threads and people often make comments just to stir things up.
BTW my mothers side of the family is Indian, my fathers side is Chinese, and I was born in SE London because the two racial groups in Malaysia (where they lived) did not tolerate my parents relationship (which is why they came to England), so I am well aware of how effectively race, culture and differences of opinions can divide communities (such as to a point where your family is dispersed across various countries and the world). At the same time I have also learnt the value of dialogue and diversity.
maybe these ones do – but not all Muslims are radical or prepared to kill.
many of the radicalised Muslims (I have encountered them in my college days) are disaffected angry young men who join criminal gangs looking for an identity just like Western football hooligans. They do not represent the entire Muslim population.
There is no easy solution – the only thing I can think of is to deploy a multinational UN force to Kashmir (containing sufficient number of Asian troops of all religions to avoid paranoia over “Western Imperialism” or domination of any one religion) until an uneasy “peace” can be reached.
Where required IN, PK and CN will need to cooperate and use conventional enforcement like cops, security services to disrupt attacks by radicals preferably before they happen – but at the same time ensuring as far as possible individual freedom is not unduly restricted.
The best you could get it to I reckon would be a similar situation to Great Britain and Northern Ireland (the civil war is still ongoing but there are slow moves towards a consensus and less people are blown up these days).

Very good points and I’m sorry for starting some confrontational posts.
Shanti shanti.
It may not necessarily be true, but I heard on a news bulletin yesterday that the Indian government was denying that suicide bombers were involved.
PS. It took about nine minutes.
