  • Anybody go?? I need help with something…. and no, it doesn’t involve men in white coast and a woman who looks like a man holding a big thick needle saying ‘you won’t feel a thing’.

    Okay I’ll shut up now…

    Who wants to know?

yeah mate went to that it was banging?
what is it you need help with?

probably didn’t want to get their nice clean police cars muddy :laugh_at:

seriously though if crews pick good locations and don’t piss off too many locals/farmers/ and people don’t go around trashing the area / feeding drugs to livestock (feed them to me instead, I’ll tell you if they are any good :laugh_at:) there isn’t actually that much crime committed by a rave…

TBH I think they just didn’t want anything around Suffolk because of the extra workload caused by the recent murder cases – mind you would have been impossible with 400 extra cops and 15 different CCTV units in the area – and every remote field round here has probably already been visited by cops now and its location stored on a database somewhere..

the way the cars were parked there was no way they could get to the barn, i think a couple of bobbies wandered up there in the morning. twas tres muddy

this happened in Thames valley once – the track was over a mile long and in the end the cops turned back halfway as the weather was a bit chilly and they just couldn’t be arsed with any more walking (my friends who were there said the cops looked clearly out of breath as well, :laugh_at: I thought you had to be fit to join the police force these days?)

that said if these EA cops took all the trouble to walk up they have probably got a load of vehicle numbers…

    haha can imagine it

”fook this this lets go get a coffee”

we convoyed behind several ob cars, ……we overtook them and they started following us so we took them on a little detour and lost them !
the farmer was buzzin about the whole thing though, he said hed seen it on the news and had said to his wife that he wouldnt mind he being done on his land ,i saw him in the morning wobbling about i rekon he’d been on the ck beauts!!
makes u feel good when farmers approve of the community being on their land

LOL – fair play to that farmer 😉

actually if I owned a farm I’d let rave crews use spare space if they were people I could trust not to get into the wrong areas or damage anything and would clean up after themselves (thats the only real reason people get worried about outdoor raves)

well-run parties do not cause excessive disruption to the countryside…

I was reading some book written by some old boy round here which mentioned how about 100 years ago youths in Suffolk were encouraged to make a big noise around late summer/harvest time to scare away the rodents, rabbits and birds so they didn’t eat the crops…

free organic pest control (unless its now been made illegal to scare wild animals with hard tek) :laugh_at:

Is it the germans or french who are happy to see parties near their walking/hiking paths because it scares bears [or something like that] away?

They discovered it as an unexpected benefit of the parties :weee:

I remember some years ago reading on a French mountain biking group that the cyclists thought raves did a good job of frightening off wild boar which otherwise trash their jumps/ramps…

That was it – wild boar – who fortunately for partiers dont like house/techno [unlike most horses and sheep I have encountered…]

we seen a munt-jack deer at a party in wendlebury about 2 years ago in the summer, it was well brave didnt run off just spent the day doing laps in a field next to the party. you gotta love the munt-jack the free party deer :bounce_fl. and we found a weird encolsure once these big mesh fences with giant stinging netals in it, maybe they are some crazy mutant killer netals that a crazy farmer is geneticaly enginering :crazy_diz in an evil attempt to one day take over the world muhh ha ha ha (evil laugh) :devil_wag .
