1. megarave

An illegal event singled out to be busted by riot police, marked as such by some website called Squatjuice.

Are you coming to the Megarave Dave? I hear it’ll be a riot!

2. MegaRave

An illegal event heavily promoted across the Internet (particularly SquatJuice) as being the biggest rave evar, to the point where Police forces can hardly open their web browser or newspaper without stumbling across a mention of it.

This forces their usually lazy hand into sending as many officers as they can find to break up the party with as much force as they can, creating a situation known as the MEGARIOT.

well I suppose since this ultimately resulted in serious injuries to both sides, the largest civil disturbance in the East of England for about 20 years, two rigs confiscated and an ongoing criminal investigation which now means a relatively harmless bit of mischief is being treated as bad as terrorism – someone might as well try and make a joke out of it..

well maybe they should do it “up north…”

seriously though, the week after the “megarave” the feds tried to close down nearly every legal rave event (even small pub/club nights) in the East of England as a reprisal.

They didn’t succeed, but it shows how pissed off they were…

Multi-riggers have been done many times in the past and been got away with so its not immpossible. Maybe they need to steer clear of east anglia!

TBH every part of England is about the same; if you pick a stupid venue where the locals are really pissed off it comes on top and same if you keep going for 3 days – even the Davidstow tek resulted in rigs being confiscated, the rubbish gone through by feds for forensic evidence, and the environment minisitres which don’t normally bother about raves getting involved.

there were multiriggers in East Anglia too – the reason cops become so harsh down here is because people are stubborn, insist on going on for 3 days in the same area, and throw things at the cops when asked to leave.

LoL, these never are the best tactics but do seem fun at times. The best multi-rigger was at king cliff army base. No O.B, no trouble, sweet rave

yer that was a goodun, altho friends did get police hassel when leavin and told if they come back to northampton for a party they will be arrested.

many years ago I got “banned” from Basingstoke after a party. I didn’t consider this as much of a loss though :laugh_at:

We quite happily went down the road to find a shop midday on the sunday and didnt even get blinked at when we went back in.

Think somtimes they try and be cunts to put there point accross but nothins official unless its on paper!
