Yeah heavy heany heavy! Ent been to a multi rigger in ages and drum n bass all night long was sweetness. Shame there were people there holding knives to people n muggin em. But all in all, Big rave!

Yeah Drum and Bass was sweetness, didin’t know anything avbout knifes though.

yep… a proper mission to get to Reading from where I live these days, but definitely worth it…

saw loads of my old friends there (including some who hadn’t been out
partying for years) as well as lots of friendly new people…

anyone else from here find the “hidden” upstairs rooms?

I had so much fun I ended up returning to London too late in the evening to get any trains to East Anglia as the Underground went all sketchy on Sunday evening)

luckily some friends of mine live in London so I ended up crashing out at their house.. and only just got to Ipswich this morning (rush hour + post-party tiredness/sketchiness – not fun! :yakk:)

well enjoyed this party specially as saw plenty of people didnt expect, only took 15 mins to get ther, n didnt need 2 follow any dodgey directions!

good music although at sum points the DnB was a bit too much my personal liking (wen i was fucked walkin around n it was only thing 4 ages in 2nd n 3rd rooms n sum random screamy shit in the 1st 1..)

rinsed the k a bit too hard managing 2 think i was lost walkin from the loo 2 outside lol

Yeah gud party. Nice to have an early start for once i got in there about 11.30 was safe. The techno in the 3rd room was best gr8 stomp but no mosh but never do see a gud mosh wit that particular soundsystem! Safe!

The first line we rang was sayin ring back after 11 at 12:45, Rang another and it jus said “we’ve got no directions but we’re opposite the rivermead lesiure center” but it werent that hard to find

there was a bit of moshing but (predictably) eventually people slipped on the discarded balloons, and ended up falling over onto the hard concrete..:blackeye::sick_toot

I think some of my friends may have patched up the casualties..

perhaps this sort of activity is best saved for outdoors, where the ground is softer :laugh_at:

managed 2 get the mosh goin alrite 4 a while wen the hardtrance was on, wernt the biggest but wasnt reli much of a moshin crowd! was jokes wen graham decided 2 dive in 2 it knocking over a loada ppl – chrz 2 the guys i landed on!

There was a mosh by the smaller rig alot of the time. I think the best i saw it was when some old boy dropped one night in hackney!!raaa raaa raaa

this party was almost like we had turned the clocks back to 2002 in many respects; the location, the crowd and the relatively friendly atmosphere (BTW if people are getting turned over please try to speak to people at one of the rigs or nothing can be done about it!)

I’m so glad I made this one, due to work and money pressures and distance I am going to less and less events these days so at least I get to see people before they dissapear off to Europe again…

some people on SJ said thats what raves used to be like every week. I wish they were.

half-true but people are looking upon things with rose-coloured specs…

when they were more regular and venues were easier to get people started taking them for granted, there was an upsurge in violence and particularly vandalism (even outside London raves) and a lot of politics between crews..

ironically it was the cops “zero tolerance” which is forcing people to link up and work together

oh, and 5 years ago the rigs were tiny and technically quite sketchy compared to what is being used today (bear in mind also technology progresses)
