    tunnel project

hopefully, they will be able to get this one off the ground :hopeless: (i recommend a backup plan if you are going to go, they’ve got a pretty patchy record)

probably will be dnb, punk & metal (though i could be wrong on that one)

    it’s a multi-rigger, to quote ’em…

WE’VE GOT A PUNK AND TECHNO RIG, A DRUM AN BASS, JUNGLE AND BREAKCORE RIG, A JAZZ, SOUL AND HIP HOP RIG AND A LIVE METAL BAND SOUNDSYSTEM WITH A BIT OF BREAKCORE”

remember this is a public forum and anyone can view it though mate. i know they post it on myspace but you at least have to be an accepted “friend” to see bulletins…

any fucker could be readin this, includin OB.

How’d it go? Any problems this time round?

Unsurprisingly it got pigged and all the rigs were confiscated and so was a hire van they were using. The way MRSA promote themselves as some sort of guerilla raveolution and myspacing out partylines to people etc is bound to attract cops. They sent an apology thru myspace sayin they don’t know how it could hav happened, it was so well organised etc. Respect to them for trying though, I don’t think I’d have the balls to do it.

their myspace bulletin was fuckin’ brilliant. very well said, apologetic but determined.

    respect to ’em.

i reaklly think that someone should have a word in these lads ears , when i lived in manchester we pulled of some of the biggest parties in the north, and had very little police attention, but these fools have went totally the wrong way with it, they will never suceed all the will do will make it harder for folk with some know how to put parties on:wink:

fair enough boothy, but often they state “repost like fuck” on their bulletins, and they happily accept anyone as a friend, which can easily include OB, so posting on myspace is just as secure as posting here i reckon

oh yeah i wasn’t havin a go 😉 i suppose tryin to stop is spreadin in any way, i sent them a message sayin they should be more on the low with the info…

i dont think they should post it all over myspace either, in fact i think they are faaaar too careless, and should take a break and get their shit together.

unfortunately i couldn’t make that party up north yorks sunday nite… how did it go? hope you had a bangin time raaa

normally with southern or eastern crews “bait” (i.e partyliines/rig names) gets removed from posts, but because a lot of mods here don’t know the Northern scene its been assumed that this lower level of “security awareness” is OK as parties were still happening.

the mods here have to strike a sometimes difficult balance between protecting free speech and stopping people dropping themselves or others in it

I personally think MRSA’s approach is outdated for the rave scene in 2007, but thought they were getting away with it.

if this is not the case then should we treat posts about Northern parties in the same way as would happen for other areas of the UK?

well the ones timid rabbit posted, the partylines were on, and as far as i know they went on fine…

i think the fact that MRSA try to hold parties in manchester city centre is as big a reason for them gettin shut down, and then there partylines are all over myspace… TBH i dont think it would make any difference to the likelyhood of a bust if MRSA’s partylines are posted here or not…

i know other parties who post their numbers up on myspace & don’t get any trouble – i think its the way they try to do parties in the city AND the way they seem to be happy to try to promote themselves as widely as possible, instead of being a bit canny about it. as far parties in manchester city centre, i was at one a couple of months ago that went ahead with no problems, so you still can do it, if you’ve got a bit of sense
