Looks like you’ve got your hands full with all that!

I’ll try and send you some of our back garden –
and some funny fire ones- our neighbours keep saying we had rats and we got quite annoyed but looking back at how bad it had got I’m suprised they didnt just set fire to it all 😉
took me 2 huge skips to empty it and then a few fires and then we found an anderson (I think ) shelter under the earth which had been filled in but I had to dig up the concrete – I turned into Laura croft for a summer :weee:

I’m trying to create a sustainable space that also looks nice.
Got the wee plot of land for next to nothing due to it getting knocked back for planning permission a few times. The land was rat infested and full of fly tipping there was even half a car on there, after weighing in all the metal and salvage I wasnt short of what I payed for the land in the first place…

Mate nice to see,i got a bit of land and im trying for a sustainable life, ive already got a turbine/solar electricity and ive got a spring underground so im gonna dig a well when im feeling strong,as well as collecting deadwood im using my donkeys shit as fuel for the stove.Ive got loads of plans for the future but next thing is im building a traditional celtic roundhouse.Keep beleiving in your project and even when everything and everybody is against you stick with your heart and it will come together, and that is from experience.Good luck to you, when something is right it will happen!!!!

Its a shame theres not more folk into sustaiable futures. I’ve been building and clearing my wee plot for three years totaly on my own by hand. 1/4 aint much but its a start and I enjoy standing back at the end of the day thinking ‘I done that’ gives you a good sence of achevement.
Its also good to see what you can do alone like moving 1/4 ton stone gate posts and tree trunks. :crazy_diz

Ps heres a wee pic of a roundhouse we built in 1996 and unfortunately watched get buldozed the same year.
