looking to organise an event like this for a mates birthday but never done it before or even been to one, read a few of the stickys but still have a few questions if people could help it would be appricated
we have a venue, but how do we let people know where and when?
and are facebook/myspace good ways to do it, or would you advise against it?
are we likely to get into trouble from the old bill if they know we are organisig it? or are we only at risk once its kicking off so to speak.
any other need to know advice would be great cheers peeps:wink:
here is a good place to start
have a read and come back with more questions 😉
nice one for advice mate, so if we get permission from landowner and have someway of proving we invited everyone whos there are we pretty much arrest free? cos closer to time were planning on starting a group on myspace and inviting our friends so it will show pretty much that its more of a standered party than a mid 90’s style rave lol although we want the 90’s style rave we dont want to end up as someones bitch in a police cell lol
this should also be useful
again, come back with questions. I’ve applied for a couple of these, as have a few friends and it’s all good
dump the myspace idea though
just read that apperntly the place were scopping we wont have permission from the land owner lol so that might be out of the question.
last question, whats the best way of finding events like this in my area?
get to legal club events that play the music you like and make friends 😉
