I live in Luton but I have no idea where or what Haz Manor is. Could anyone let me know please?
I’m very glad Exodus hav’nt disappeared, since we share a name and several ideals I’m glad they’re still alive and well and planning stuff. Sadly I can’t make the 27th but will definitely want to share any other events you have planned.
Stay strong, stay true, stay till the last dancer drops:bounce_fl

yeah man i actually got my stompin boots on would ya believe it! truth be told i only stayed for about five hours cos me mate had shit to do in the morning but…
man i wanted it to be everything i could hope for but really the sound quality was piss poor-the mids an tops far too low at points, and the general volume was really quiet to the extent i could hear my feet tapping on the floor. listen, i dont want to rip them at all-you could see a lot of thought went into it, and when you considder that police arent gonna give them any slack, and it was very close to a housing estate, it kind of figures to be a bit careful-they had i think too big a safety margin. it could have been much louder.
my main foible really was no tekkie, but like i said i was only there for a bit really and i hear their more a tekkie in the morntide kinda folks.
the dnb an jungle was nice, mind
all in all it was kinda poo-ive had many better nights at places less infamous.
still im well up for their woburn stomp next year. tho i do hope they take the piss at least a little.
didnt go ot this one, but have been before & have to agree with above, although i do have lotta respect for em & what theyr trying to do n my older mates love exodus, when ive been its not how they make it out – ‘free spirit & every1 coming together’, it was pretty sketchy/unfriendly atmosphere (mainly from people who seemed to be involved!) poor turnout & tunes, n to be honest ive been to plenty of parties organised by people with a lot less experience that had better vibes and more thought in2 production
Yeah have been to one of the partys and shat myself to be honest1 And for a good reason to by the end of the night one of my mates had been mugged and others threatened! Not a good atmosphere!
Saying that fair play to the people involved as what i’ve read about their ideas they seemed to have it right…. but i dunno! Wouldn’t say i feel they have any strong part of the actual party scene at the moment seem to be living in the past!
maybe im wrong as i dont know em personaly, but seems like they’r living in a mix of the past free party values & todays chav/money making culture
yeah thats it! The way there party was set up was something from the past, speakers dotted about and no mosh! Then a manor full of chavs running around in “gangs” shouting a nd screaming! Saying that they are pretty much in the centre of the ghetto of luton!
i was fully up for making the journey but couldn’t get a possie together… there was too much going on locally
although i wanted to go i had my reservations as some of the exodus crew have earned a shitty rep in the past and i wasn’t sure who was behind this party
i reckon that advertising widely on the web is a bad idea though. people above have said there was theft going on
good parties don’t need wide publicity, just good word of mouth
well not too sure if the feedback is good or bad really but i passed through myself and thought it was good. didnt see any trouble or gangs etc
although the system could have been crancked up a little and maybe a little more deco would have been nice
but a definate posotive is being able to smoke unlike ALL other venues around the area which definately makes for a better party imo
:crazy_dru
I didn’t go to the party but would like to comment on exodus as a collective. I’ve been to a few party’s and yes dis-organised sometimes but as a collective they have involved all sorts of people not creating an exclusive cliche of people. It is far easier to find a sorted group of trusted mates and keep things tight in terms of trust/ organization. It is more difficult to have a collective where anyone can be involved and lots of people want to seem to be part of it but the reality is they have no connection.
And yes this leads to people who have no idea what is going on claiming to be organizing everything. It also can lead to some right nutters being involved and giving a bad impression.
So Exodus can be dis-organised and badly represented by some but credit due because they work on the principle of being a collective and trying to bring social change while partying in luton and lets face it you wouldn’t choose to live there!
I was there and have to admit I was a little confused by the whole thing…
Everyone seemed sound, Bigsy was hitting on my girlfriend which was well funny as she takes the Piss!
But it was the disorganisation that really came through and the fact that some people thought they were much bigger than they were…
I agree with the fact that some people seem to be living in the past, but hopefully that makes them fight harder for the future…..
