be careful here, as some states appear to still support much of the ethos of 1920s Prohibition! Plus America was essentially set up by the sorts people who turned Essex and Suffolk into complete “no-fun zones” as early as the 17th century :hopeless:
I would check “city hall” and look for “zoning laws” about how much noise you can make and where you can do it. also find out who your mayor/”governator” or whatever they call them is, and what their policies are. (don’t be fooled by the claimed Democrat/Republican differences, as there are right-wing democrats and liberal republicans).
Remember that if cops in some states (particularly conservative/religious ones) want to shut you down they will do it with methods that will make Suffolk Constabulary look like fluffy kittens.
