Today I am going to cut off all my dreadlocks, there 6 years old. RIP

They keep getting itchy because I have a crap shower so its hard to keep them as clean as I used to be able too. I don’t want to be associated with druggy or hippy culture. I want to smarten myself up a bit too, I am nearly 25 and want to look more sensible and grown up in a way. There so long now they are uncomfortable at times and I miss being able to run me fingers through my hair.

But now I am having second thoughts there such a bit part of my physical identity and I am unsure I want to look like I am not part of alternative culture. eeeep.

dont do it man

just get some good dandruff shampoo, wash them once every couple of weeks and you’ll be fine. and fuck looking sensible im older than you, have a decent job and wear a suit to work the dreads dont make any difference

I am not going to cut them off, I would miss them too much. Was damn close though, hair gel was on the shopping list!
