I opted to do known egg donation this year for a friend. Went through all the tests, scans etc and was approved only for her husband to say he changed his mind after counselling. My friend was gutted and so was I – for her. Anyway, getting the donor is the hard part, tests can be a bit of a ball ache but its all straight forward on the whole. I hope she finds somebody willing to help her, it’s a shame women have all these eggs and don’t share 🙁

Yes I can imagine it being difficult. The couple I was donating to were asian and I am white, I think them finding another asian donor would have been hard work.
