  • A most unpleasant situation, which should be monitored, but this place is no Christiana TBH, and what is more disappointing is no one wanted to get any peaceful consenus after 10 long years, despite this being a affluent democratic nation, not some third world tin pot banana republic.

I have family in Essex and came close to growing up in Basildon after I had some family issues with my natural parents and a uncle there offered to take me in. However the are itself is a shithole full of angry folk what hate one another and all them cops are normally around in such number routinely (except not always in one place like that) because thats the only way they stop everyone killing each other.

I live in the Eastern region myself and the problem is everyone is stubborn. No one wants to compromise and then ultimately cops/soldiers/anyone else what things they are hard ends up fighting, sometimes to the death. I’ve studied the areas history and things like this have happened for centuries.

Hopefully no one will get killed here – but many times I wish that you Scandinavians would once again cross the North Sea – in a more peacable manner with a number of large motor omnibuses – on which certain folk are taken to “summer camp” to learn properly about community and consensus and self-discipline, and how these fit together to get autonomous communities tolerated.

I consider myself English and usually proud of my nation, but there are things we should and must learn from other countries, particularly our North European neighbours.
