Although this is only apparently a year it seems to be yet another sign the Catholic Church is advancing very quickly in recent times (TBH on Radio Maria NL the padre gave the impression that artificial contraception was a lesser sin anyway; but to still take care with it (its not 100% reliable). they do have sex education programmes for youth on RMNL and they are much more liberal and science based than I’d expected!)
