  • Within the American black market I’ve seen stuff that was literally a mixture of dirt, weed and seeds all pressed together that you had to break on a table or the hood of a car. When someone mentions “brick weed” I have to clarify that the aforementioned mixture is actual brick weed whereas low THC pressed up marijuana isn’t really brickweed. Also have seen absolutely amazing connoisseur quality stuff. Stuff varies in price while entering the supply chain from 20$/kg to ~$5,000kg

As far as CBD goes, the article mentions some interesting things as far as sourcing from sketchy countries. They sell CBD concentrates at a local headshop and the packaging is reminiscent to Gas Station ED pills.

Mid to late 1990s era hash (soapbar) was notoriously badly contaminated, in some cases containing bitumen, shredded plastic and quantities of industrial solvents (which is one reason why locally grown skunk took over) This was a great shame as hash was decent before then, and there seemed to be a much better variety of it.

Then in the mid 2000s an unpleasant practice of contaminating weed with various small particulates order to bulk out the weight. Anything from fine sand and sugar to industrial chemicals used as etch resist in the electronics industry and for glass frosting! Weed thus contaminated was harsh to smoke and made many of those who persisted in smoking it quite ill. Thankfully the practice appears to have stoppped around 2008 onwards (I last smoked weed in 2010 so am not sure of todays quality).

Cannabis used for medical purposes, especially anything administered by methods other than smoking or vaping (heat kills bugs) should indeed be prepared to the same standards as any other legit pharms, the patients who may benefit from it are very likely to have compromised immune systems. Pharmacists in NL seem to manage it perfectly well without whinging about extra costs or following the regulations….

I tried reading that article and couldn’t be arsed to read any of it. Aldo I felt the same after perusing your comments, although that stuff you weretalking about sounded interesting DB, the brick weed. Could you post a link tpo a pic of what yu measn cos I’m not sure I understand what that is.

Like that, but like half dirt and shit in the brick. Brick weed almost always has seeds, not all low quality weed is semilla though. Just google brick weed and you’ll see a bunch of pictures of compressed marijuana. It is compressed to save on space while getting it across the border from Mexico. As far as I know it hasn’t been doing too well with the legalization efforts and re-prioritization from law enforcement.

Sometimes similar stuff would also be refereed to as “KB” or Killer Bud because it was treated with ammonia or other shit in the source country. Occasionally it will be rotten because the growers just dry it in the sun and do a half ass job.

People still sell it, but most anyone can get better stuff, growing up this would sometimes be close to all that was around. The picture is from Malaysia and Singapore but it is a brick of weed.

I’m a bit of a stickler as far as delinting between truly brick and ‘compressed’ reggie/shwag. Most people would call the posted picture ‘brick weed’, but there is worse stuff out there that the term should be reserved for.

if it is from MY to SG that is going to be one of the hardest drug runs in the world – but there is always building work going on in SG, and heavy materials have to be shipped in (SG is tiny and doesn’t have a great deal of its own resources). That said from the photo it looks like the feds intercepted the shipment anyway 😥

I think the story from that brick is the guy tried to smuggle it in his pants! LOL

It was just a good representative picture. Gotta be out of your mind and really desperate to run drugs there.

Worries me a bit that this stuff is out there. I go for big brands and make it my mission to keep everything clean/top quality. Suppose this stuff will always be out there. We’ve just got to be careful.
