thats scary, i used to live about 5 minutes away from Bury for just over 5 years, i always have memories of it being quaint and quiet, me and my friends used to spend all day playing in the abbey ruins.
in my village where I lived we had the best school I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a fair few, it was such a small village but had a fairly big school, nicest teachers and meant that you knew everyone in the village, and as well the swimming pool was used as the village swimming pool in the summer holidays where I had some of the best times… found out that thats getting pulled down soon to squeeze in loads of new houses… made me really really sad
