good too see that they haven’t let the bombs stop the party
after all there were bombs in the old skool days when the IRA were still active in London.
TBH I think if there is any danger from IEDs (bombs) at a party or festival (and it is a very remote risk!) there is just as much threat from the “home-grown” extreme right groups in the UK as much as “foreign” terrorists (they tried to blow up Notting Hill carnival a few years back but the cops managed to find the cache of bombs – which showed signs of having been designed by someone with British military training!)
Also criminal gangs may create a real or false bomb alert to disrupt an event (its actually happened on the UK garage scene and at commercial clubs – some who had beef with a local promoter made a hoax bomb call to the cops!)
