Everything is confirmed for our free party on Sunday
in Brick Lane and we have had a couple of new
additions to the line-up…
Introducing our live acoustic acts ….
GIT are making their London debut on Sunday and
describe their sound as ‘punk folk with a twist of
noise’. They formed just 6 months ago to write their
own songs influenced by the likes of Joy Division,
Arab Strap and Smog.
MULLINSKI are an aural salmagundi of blues and reds
riffs, persuasive funky percussive beats, soaring
angelic-tinted-with-tequila vocals, olifantus bass
lines with a hint of indigenous undertones by their
lead female vocalist (their description!).
LA MAQUINA are a latin band made up of 2 columbians,
2 spaniards and 1 english musician who caught our eye
when they were rocking a local shoreditch club a
couple of weeks ago. They have a fantastic south
american vibe, you can expect a sexy mix of bosssa
nova, batucada, Argentinian and Colombian cumbia and
reggae-ton.
We now have 10 dj’s joining our 3 live bands who will
be playing electro house, breaks, funk and hip-hop
getting more raucous as the day goes on…..
