ICANN are a law unto themselves, they always have been. ICANN should be a consortium of international professionals that truely account for the Internets GLOBAL network. Instead ICANN is basically a bunch of mostly americans who answer to the US Trade & Commerce Department (if they have to).
Saying that the .uk registrar (Nominet) and suposedly a ‘non-profit organisation run by the members for the members’. They make FAR too much money and make too many odd decisions for that to be true.
